I’ll be turning 25 in November (shout out to all my Scorpios out there) and the whole point of me creating this post was to reflect on all the things I have learned in the past 25 years. Enjoy!
- Adulting is hard, to say the least.
- Motherhood is not all unicorns and rainbows.
- Never make PERMANENT decisions on temporary emotions
- Not everything requires a response.
- Music is therapy!
- Blogging/Writing is the best way to express creativity & is therapeutic
- People will disappoint you.
- Never give up on something you’re talented in – use it to your advantage.
- It’s okay to say NO.
- Don’t have high expectations. On anything.
- Save more than you spend. Put a certain percentage of direct deposit to your savings account.
- Self-Reflecting is an important part of growth!
- Every morning, you decide what mood you want to be in.
- Losing weight starts with changing your mindset. Lose weight for yourself, not for others.
- Stop caring about what other people think or will say about you.
- Invest in the experience, not things.
- Friends are so important to have.
- It’s not your job to change or save everyone.
- Live in the present, don’t dwell on the past.
- Eliminate people that drain you from your energy.
- Self-Love is important!
- Don’t overthink situations. In most cases, things are never what they seem.
- If you hate your job, it’s okay to get a new one.
- Things don’t work out for a reason.
- Put your thoughts into actions and watch your dreams come true.
We all go through periods of self-reflecting. It’s important to understand that everything in life plays out the way it does for a reason. We may go through a period of sadness when we do self-reflect and that’s okay. That’s called HEALING. Once we heal, we can move on with a much clearer head.
With that being said, I hope you enjoyed the 25 things that I learned in 25 years of my life. Feel free to use what I learned to your advantage. Until the next post!
