Talking about eyeshadow palettes simply excites me. So in today’s post, that’s what we’re going to do. There are tons of amazing shadows out there on the market, but these specific 5 palettes are the ones I reach for the most. Check it out!
The 5 palettes I reach for the most
1// Little Briar Rose Storybook Palette
So I received this palette in my BoxyCharm December Luxe Box. I know it’s too soon to mention this in my post of what I “reach for the most”, but let me explain. I have used this palette almost every day since I received it! That’s how amazing this palette is. Each shade is not repetitive and has it’s own unique vibe to it. It’s just so easy to blend in these shades with one another. Plus, it’s shaped like a cute storybook! The only con I have is the velvet cover. As you can tell, if a shade gets deposited on it, it just smears rather then coming off.
2// BH Cosmetic – Beautiful in Barcelona
Bh Cosmetic has been stepping up its formula lately. When swatching these shades you can tell how pigmented each one is. Like it really took me by surprise! Each metallic and matte shade is so beautiful and feels velvety to the touch. Without a primer, you can still achieve long-lasting wear with these shadows. I just love love love this palette so much!
3// Bh Cosmetics – Hangin in Hawaii
Another Bh Cosmetic palette with such beautiful bronze/peach to neutral tones that I can’t get enough of. I’m into the peachy/neutral tones and when I had swatched this in-store, I knew I had to buy this. In addition, the shimmers are hands down beautiful! It’s been a long time since I’ve owned a BH cosmetic palette and between this palette and the beautiful in Barcelona, I’ll definitely be buying more.
4// Jeffree Star – Artistry
Jeffree Star’s palettes seem to amaze me. From the packaging to the shades and pigments itself, I am starstruck with it all. This particular palette is my favorite by far. It has your peach shades to even the bold and colorful shades. I tend to reach for this palette when I want to go BOLD and add a pop of color to the inner corners. With 25 shades, you can create multiple looks!
5// Violet Voss – Essentials
Last but certainly not least, let’s talk about the essential palette. Again, another palette I had received in my BoxyCharm. I always seem to use the “Terra Cota” and “Cinnamon” shades for darkening up the crease for a more dramatic look. I also use the shade “cream” in the eyelid area for a pop of white shimmer. It definitely has all your essential subtle shades for any occasion.
So there’s that! I am in love with each and every one of these palettes named in this post. Which one is your favorite? Comment down below!
