For those that do not know me my name is Samora. I am from the East Coast, a mom of two, wife, beauty and fashion lover, and blogger addict who loves to shop and share my daily life and just about everything else behind this blog!
When I am not blogging, you can find me spending quality time with my family, binge watching shows, organizing my home, and scrolling through TikTok!
This space has evolved over the years and started off with mostly makeup and some fashion and now it is a good mix of beauty, fashion, home, wellness, and everything in between.
My ultimate hope? From sharing advice and tips, EMPOWERING woman is part of who I am and encouraging all of you to embrace your life!! I hope to be a helpful source for you whether you’re looking for some relationship advice, beauty on a budget, or just some home and fashion inspiration.

ABOUT THE BLOG
What is behind the website name, “SamoraMel”? Well because it is my name and everything that is on my blog, reflects the person who I am and everything else in between. I started this blog with no specific niche either so I knew I didn’t want to designate anything with a specific category in the name. I have been back and forth with changing my website name but right now calling it The SM Blog, makes sense. To be continued..
Why did you start a blog? I always find that writing something down was very therapeutic growing up. A few years ago I came across a few bloggers posts on pinterest. After discovering blogging, that’s when it hit me to start a blog: to share all my advice and tips on life, wellness, travel and fashion! I love Pinterest for helping me discover my creative outlet. Anything and everything you NEED to know about blogging, is on there. I researched for hours and said, “okay, I am going to do this”. It is an investment though, but after a few months it became worth it!! I love love loveee helping people and I love sharing my thoughts and ALSO find blogging therapeutic. Blogging helps me copy with anxiety and being able to make a difference in someone else’s life, matters to me.
