When adding prompts to your journal, I find that it’s the perfect way to reflect on your life. It helps you get a better understanding of yourself, your values, and what you envision in life. Needless to say, journaling gives you some sort of direction on evaluating where you are NOW and where you want to eventually be.
My advice to you when you’re jotting down answers is just to be authentic and completely raw with how you are feeling and what you are thinking. There are no right or wrong answers. Reflecting on your life, it’s the perfect coping mechanism. It helps you start the healing process from anything or anyone that has been taking a toll on you emotionally, physically, and mentally. You’ll find that at the end of this you should start to understand what is important to you.
