OG Drugstore makeup, still worthy of buying today!
- L’Oreal Mascara // I remember when everyone was talking about this mascara. I always find myself going back to this one as it does not smear, lasts 8 hours, it’s not too thick and not too thin, and mimicks false lashes quite well without the need to add falsies.
- Rimmel Exaggerate Gel Liner // Over 8 years now, I have always been repeatedly buying this gel liner because it does what it claims to do and is affordable. It does not smudge and I agree, it’s waterproof!
- L’Oreal True Match Foundation // Not only does this foundation has a wide variety of shades that suit your specific skin tone, but it doesn’t settle into your pores. This was a huge plus for someone who dealt with a lot of acne growing up. It is oil-free too which is great if you deal with oily/acne prone skin. This is a light to medium coverage and is buildable. It also felt hydrating and with added SPF, this foundation was my go-to. I personally prefer a pump, but if I had to choose one without this would be the one!
- Rimmel Natural Bronzer // In the summer days, I wear this bronzer because it has SPF 15 and is waterproof. I remember using this back when I was 17. Fast forward 8 years, I still have this in my makeup collection today.
- Hard Candy Bronzer // This is a major flashback! I remember the good old days when I couldn’t afford more than $5, I chose this bronzer. It made me look naturally tan and never orange. It also has that glowy effect as well, which made me love this product even more. Yes, I would still buy this.
- ELF Liquid Liner // For those who don’t know, this was the first time I ever experienced a liquid liner. Man those first few times were rough!! Luckily, after you get a hang of it this becomes one of the best long-lasting drugstore liners to own.
- Milani in “Luminoso” // To be honest, this is still my number one blush! This shade is peachy and is most definitely pigmented. I buy a new one after I hit the pan and has also been the only blush to compliment my skin tone.
- Maybelline BB Fresh 8-in-1 // A skin perfector that has yet to disappoint. It’s such a lightweight BB cream that you feel like you are rocking a bare face with little imperfection. It’s oil-free which makes it safe to wear all year long, especially in the summer heat. It has ingredients formulated to adjust seamlessly into your skin tone and blur imperfections. It’s no wonder why it’s still on shelves today.
- AirSpun Setting Powder // I am not a fan of the smell but I swear by this product sets your makeup unlike no other and is super affordable. It can be found at your local Walmart or buy from the link to Amazon.
- L’Oreal Amber Rush Pigmented Shadow // Amber Rush was my OG hands-down favorite eyeshadow back in the days. Beautiful, pigmented, and still worth ordering today.
- Physician Formula Shimmer Strips // I will stay recommending this versatile product. It’s an eyeshadow, blush, and highlighter all-in-one. It’s compact and easy to bring along on-the-go and is shockingly pigmented.
- Revlon Lustrous Lip Stick // This is a super creamy lipstick that glides on evenly onto your lips. It has Vitamin E and Avocado oil which mades it moisturizing and non-drying. Most lipsticks dry my lips but that’s what makes this lipstick unique. Some of my favorite shades are rose velvet, unapologetic, and mink.
- Jordana Gel Lip Liner // These lipliners are super inexpensive! I definitely didn’t want to break the bank at the time I discovered these liners and ever since I tried them out, I was always curious why it never got enough attention. You can find this only at Walgreens or online Amazon (linked already).
- Revlon Photo Ready Primer // I love how this makes my foundation glide on seamlessly! Between this primer and the Maybelline Baby Skin instant (another OG) I love how my pores are significantly reduced and keeps my makeup matte for hours!!
- Maybelline Concealer // You will still catch me using this concealer on a daily. It works wonders on erasing dark circles. It’s natural added ingredients help to brighten the area to combat dark circles.
- E.L.F. Eyelid Primer // If you need a good inexpensive eyelid primer, you need this. It’s still one of my favorite primers today!
