Happy Summer you guys! Who’s ready for a vacay?!
I am so guilty at being a procrastinator when it comes to preparing for a trip. Because of this I end up forgetting all of the important things I need. Especially beauty items!
With that being said, I gathered all of my favorite mini beauty items that will complete your beauty travel essential bag!
Though some of these items are probably not for you, at least you are inspired by the idea of what to bring along while traveling. So without further ado, let’s get started!
The Ultimate travel size beauty essentials
Skin Care
What’s a travel bag without the skin care necessities! Here are my top 7 must-haves for my trip!
#1 Moisturizer // In a new environment, my skin just does a full 180. I have much dryer skin and a moisturizer is such a must wherever I go. This is my go-to face moisturizer and I am so thankful I have recently discovered it. Just this moisturizer alone evens the skin tone and adds the perfect touch of glow to make you look awake and refreshed. I don’t go anywhere without this and definitely wouldn’t travel without this either.
#2 Revlon Kit // I have one similar to this one as pictured but has an added set of tweezers. This is perfect to keep with you if you want to keep up with your nails. I mostly use the tweezers to take care of any strays of eyebrow hairs I come across. It’s the perfect compact set to bring along on any trip.
#3 Hydrated Lotion // I never go anywhere without lotion. My skin dries easily, especially on a vacation. This lotion is so hydrating that I refuse to leave the house without it.
#4 Makeup Remover // Gotta make sure you bring your favorite makeup remover. While I am on-the-go I prefer makeup remover wipes over anything else. It does not require me to use water or even a mirror. Also, this does not leave any residue which is a huge plus for me.
#5 Acne Spot treatment // So far, I am loving the quick response of this product. It diminishes any eruption of acne/redness on my face.
#6 Razor // Having a waterless razor has come to the rescue on several occasions. I wouldn’t recommend going without this!
#7 Facial Cleanser // My favorite on-the-go facial cleanser is this one. It really does not disappoint and leaves me with smooth clean skin.
Makeup
Ladies, makeup may or may not be in your travel kit but it’s definitely in mines! This is my “bare minimal” type of travel size makeup must-haves, where I don’t have to put much time into thinking and focusing (reasons I opt out of eyebrow pen/liners). I can literally put all of this on in less than 5 minutes. Perfect for traveling when you’re constantly on-the-go!
#8 Foundation // On most vacations, I am mainly catching some vitamin D. Spf is super important for the skin and ideally, I prefer to opt-in a tinted SPF foundation that still gives the protection I need while giving me medium coverage I am looking for. It’s lightweight and definitely looks natural on the skin.
#9 Mascara // This mascara alone really compliments the eye look. I feel confident without wearing eyeliner and this mascara really stays true to it’s “false lash effect”.
#10 Versatile Bronzer/Highlight // I love how it can be used for various makeup looks! I mainly use it as a highlighter and bronzer. With all-natural shades, it helps achieve a radiant, healthy, and natural look while on vacation.
#11 Eyeshadow Palette // This small palette has all of my favorite shades that I need to create the perfect eye look.
#12 Eyebrow // Can’t go anywhere without my eyebrows are done. Confessions of a beautyholic, I know. The wand is the best while traveling because I am constantly on the go. I need something quick where I don’t have to focus on messing up.
#13 Makeup Brushes // If you’re bringing makeup, you’re definitely going to need brushes. This is the one I have and it is the perfect size to tag along on any trip!
#14 Versatile Spray // Wet n Wild has the best 3-in-one that is perfect for keeping your finished makeup in place.
#15 Lip Stick/Gloss // My favorite on-the-go lip plumper is the Buxom brand. I have two that stays in my purse all year long. I love how after this product wears off my lips feel so smooth and it is a non-stick gloss.
Hair Care & organizers
This is my favorite go-to travel hair care essentials.
#16 Straightener/Wet-brush // My hair is a hot mess if I don’t straighten it. Especially if I am in a humid area! Bringing my mini straightener is a necessity to keep myself looking presentable at all times. The wet brush that comes with it is my favorite on-the-go usage. It really does detangle your hair and if you are going to be in the water at some point during your vacay, it’s always good to have a wet brush at hand.
#17 Organizer bag // Need this to place all of your essential belongings. I love this tropical set!!! Plenty of room for all the beauty essential listed on this post.
#18 Hair Styling Treatment // I prefer this beach babe hair cream. I like the cream more than I do the spray because, I feel like I have more control over where I place the cream. When I get out of the shower and I don’t have time to do my hair, I apply this treatment on my damp hair in a scrunching motion. It looks and smells like I’ve been at the beach.
#19 Scrunchy // Bring your hair ties/accessories! This scrunchy is my all-time favorite and will not go anywhere without it. I have heavy and thick hair so this hair tie really does the job on holding everything up and in place. No hair pulling at all either. So for tender headedness/thick hairs out there – you’re missing out if you do not have this in your life.
#20 Dry Shampoo // To prevent myself from having to rewash my hair daily, this helps to extend the life of my hair by allowing me to go up to 3 days without washing. Healthy and essential for all women, definitely recommend using this!
#21 Travel Kit // I like this set to add in my own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Most of my stuff cannot be found in a mini/travel size. Instead of purchasing travel-size toiletries, I save money by reusing these containers and use what I already have at home.
