Hey friends!
So today, I was thinking I need to remind myself of these budget-friendly stores and the best way to remind myself is to write or blog about it! I thought that this could be a useful topic for those who are into saving money and are looking for affordable places to shop at. Most of all, keep me in line with making sure I shop affordable! Most of these stores are very known around the US. Overall, all are great stores to shop at if you are looking to stay on budget and as well as getting quality items for cheap!
Here is a list of places I currently shop out while I am out on a budget!
- Burlington: So well known around the US. I still find some awesome steals in this store, especially casual wear.
- Gabes: Literally, you can find high-end brands for 80% off the regular cost! Express shirts are around 7.99-10.99. Carhart shirts for 7.99 and carport pants are around 25.99. (this is a general price of what I found) If you need scrubs, Gabes has an entire rack full of them. Highly recommend this store!
- TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Ross/Home goods: This is very well known of course. All some-what affiliated with one another. Love them all. Their home goods store is where I find a lot of luxury items for a much lesser cost.
- Tuesday Morning: In this last year I discovered this store. I just find a lot of quality items in this store and find that I come here when finding creative lawn decorations. They a lot of home goods in this store. Perfect place for buying gifts on a budget for others as well.
- Walmart: Good old fashion, Walmart. What would we all be without you? This will always be a budget-friendly place to shop.
- Ollies Bargain: Once I discovered this place I was amazed! Books for stupid cheap and affordable EVERYTHING. I find a lot of children learning books for less than $2 when the regular price is $10+. Crayola items are at least half off. Plus, you can find furniture and good pricing on big area rugs.
- Platos Closet: Another great consignment store! For the most part, I find them quite affordable. You can expect
trendy style of clothing here. - Aldi/Lidl/Big Lot/Save-A-Lot: We all have a local grocery store that we currently go to. Here are some other good places to try if you haven’t already.
- Thrift Stores: I just enjoy consignment stores and scavenger hunting! We have one called Thrift Store USA and literally the best quality thrift store I have ever been in. They actually have brand new mattresses! I see nothing wrong with going
thrifting if anything, it’s so much fun and you can find good quality stuff. I’ve walked out one time with 4 big bags under $100 knowing the brand items were worth way more!
(I will be adding more to this list as I come across more affordable stores)
- Once Upon a Child: Up to 70% off of retail price and excellent condition clothes/toys. I walk into this store with so much excitement. If you have kids, you definitely understand the feeling.
- The Children’s Place: Widely known and still a place I find affordable!
- Others: All that’s listed above, you can find lots of children toys and clothes. I usually buy a lot of my kid’s clothes from consignment stores because kids grow so fast and buying brand new clothes can be a bit pricey.
Mind you, these are places I have been to (also found nearby my area) and I am sure I am missing out on a whole BUNCH out there. So please let me know down below if you have other places you recommend as well!
If you are interested in online stores that are affordable, stay tuned! I will be mentioning online clothing stores that are super trendy and most of all, budget-friendly. Take care friends!
