Change. We all have mix emotions when hearing that one word. Change triggers happy and sad emotions for me. What about you? I understand that change is NOT for everyone. But what if change is the only thing that will get you out of the situation that is currently draining you? Emotionally and mentally. Think about that for a moment.
I’ve found myself recently and along the way, I have learned to welcome change with open arms. Change isn’t always a bad thing. It can lead to beautiful destinations and a healthier environment. One of the things I have learned is that CHANCE is ESSENTIAL to my happiness.
So that’s what prompted me to share this post with you all today. To help spread awareness to accept change and here are the 10 reasons why.
The 10 reasons why change is essential to your HAPPINESS
- NEW OPPORTUNITIES // No matter where you are in life…rather you have your own business, you’re a stay at home mom, you’re in college right now, or you’re stuck in a corporate job feeling unfulfilled in life. You have the power to change anything that makes you unhappy!! You’re one decision completely away from whole DIFFERENT life.
- FLEXIBILITY // Frequent changes are constant throughout life and the more we face change, the easier we adapt to them.
- NEW BEGINNINGS // It is about closing one chapter and opening another one. Embrace that.
- PERSONAL GROWTH // It teaches us to be humble about the learning experiences we gain from our choices. Throughout our life, there are hard lessons and good lessons. But you know that already. There is no reset button in life but if we are mindful of certain situations going forward, we won’t make those mistakes again.
- TEACHES US TO GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONES // Shout out to my introverts out there! It’s frightening at first to do something that’s not in our forte but we only have one life to live. So live! Let change push you out of your comfort zone.
- HEALTHIER RELATIONSHIPS // It’s definitely okay to let go of toxic people in your life. Shorten your circle down to the ones who really brighten up your day. Those who really make a difference! They say you ARE who you surround yourself with. Cutting out the toxic people in your life will make you realize you don’t want toxicity in your life or even in yourself. It’s time to accept change and go out there and make new positive friendships!
- STRENGTH // When you go through the toughest and most unexpected change in your life, you’re bound to feel vulnerable. After you start picking up the pieces you’ve let slip away and build yourself back up, you get stronger. Each time. Don’t let go of your strength.
- SELF-IMPROVEMENTS // This goes for anything that improves you to be BETTER. Overcoming obstacles in your life makes you braver/more confident. Any positive change in your life is an improvement.
- VISION & PURPOSE // Change makes you look at things you hadn’t noticed before. Whatever that might be will help drive you towards something better. You’ll have a clearer purpose on where you like your life to end up.
- ACCEPTANCE // It takes much more energy and constant effort to combat change than it does to welcome it into our lives. If we allow change into our life we prevent delays, drama with others, and even internal struggles.
Okay guys, on that note I really hope in some shape or form that I’ve inspired you into trying to make small changes in your life, to create a better version of you! Just take a leap of faith with any big decision you make in life. Just always think of WHY you are doing it and always vision the outcome of that choice.
