Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 2 Baking Pan
  • 1 Electric Mixer
  • 2 Parchment Paper

Materials

  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • cup Sugar
  • 1 ⅓ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 48 pieces Hershey Kisses Milk Chocolates
  • ½ Cup Creamy Peanut butter
  • additional granulate sugar for rolling Optional: green and red sugar coating
  • ½ cup unsalted butter at room temperature

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350˚F, and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • While the oven is heating, remove the wrappers from the chocolate.
  • Time to mix up your ingredients. Mix together the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars in a bowl with your mixer until smooth and combined; add in the egg and continue to blend until smooth. Now add in the flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Create your cookie dough in a ball form measuring about 1 1/2 tablespoons of dough, then coat it with sugar.
  • Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet a couple of inches apart.
  • Bake the cookies on the middle rack for about 12 minutes, until golden on the bottom. Immediately once done, press a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie.
  • Remove the cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely.
